I wish to create digital scrapbooks. I have done a bit but wish to learn more. Perhaps this is exactly the place!

I have been scrapbooking for 10 years. I have completed over 40 paper scrapbooks and four digital scrapbooks. A few years ago I organized gatherings of several aunt's, uncles, and cousins. We spent several months putting the majority of my Grandpa's photos into scrapbook pages. Grandpa loved the scrapbooks and was very proud of us for taking the time to do that for him. He passed away last year. It is very comforting to me to have those books to look at.

I have scrapped for several years and now want to focus on doing something with the boxes and boxes of family photos that go back several generations. i have been collecting stories to go with some of them and have my own memories for others. I hope to get started with digital scrapping but also love the hands-on approach. I am looking for motivation and inspiration from this group.

Kelly that's exactly what I'm looking for, and I look forward to seeing them :)

I too am a digital scrapper, and I will post some of my thing too as soon as I have a chance. Right now I;m just trying to get all my personal groups up and settled in. Then I can just play :)

Hi Katrina and everyone else! I've been making digital scrapbook pages for my family groups. I made one for a family reunion and then sold about 20 more. That would never work with paper ones. I love to do the digital because I was always finding a better pic and all I had to do was delete the old and insert the new. I'll try to submit some stuff if that's what you are looking for! -Kelly

Hi Katrina, I thought it would be interesting to hear of how others compile their heritage albums and to see their layouts.

I have created a page on my web site to be the "home page" for this group. If you send me images of your genealogy related scrapbook pages, whether digitally created or pictures or scans of paper created ones, I will post them on the home page for all of us to enjoy.

Welcome new members. I hope to make this group an interesting and fun one for everyone. I'm going to start a discussion or two to get things rolling. Please join in and help us get started.

Also, please invite others you know who may be interested, and if you have blogs or websites post a message about us and invite othres to join. The more we have, the more we will all be able to learn from each other.
