Iwould like to access the 1901 census for Glasgo (Milton district) for family forenames of Hamill living there at the time. Anyone help?

Hi all, I'm currently researching the Johnston family name from the Banff area and the Findlay family from the Kirriemuir area. Please feel free to contact me if you have any history on these two family names! :o)

My name is Jim Mowatt (jpmowatt on ancestry.com)
I'm researching Mowatt (Mowat) family tree emanating from Kincardineshire and my particular branch of it came to Leeds in the 1860's
Most of my tree so far can be found on my web page http://historyzine.com/phpgedview/

I've been running a One Place Study on the Berwickshire parish of Whitsome and Hilton for years. It started as research into a single house, and kept growing until it hit the parish boundaries!
I'm interested in hearing for anyone with W&H families as it's useful to know where they were before and after their stay in the parish.

Sorry Barbara we are not related. Your's are a different lot. Nevertheless the Scottish Borders is a very pretty area and when we went there about 3 years ago I must say I wondered why they left. Of course we weren't there in winter.

Kathleen, I have just come across Ingram as a second name on my ONS. Elizabeth Ingram was born 7th Sep 1856 at Templepatrick, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland, to Henry McIlhaggo (or McIlhagga or McIlhaga) and Agnes (nee McMeekin). Do you perhaps have an Ingram who married a McMeekin or even a McDole (McDowel), Henry's mother's maiden name?
Donald McIlhagga.
