"Gary, thank you for sending me that web address on the Walker's Toaping Castly, mystery....
I have been suspicious about the story since I couldn't find anything about Toaping Castle in Scotland....this info has answered a lot of question…"
"Thanks William, I have looked for Toaping Castle in Scotland too and came up empty...makes me suspicious about the story....but I will keep looking and hoping to find something that I can verify..

Bedlormie Tower, in West Lothian,
Crawfordton Tower, in Dumfrieshire

Historically, WALKER has been the 17th most common name in Scotland (and the U.S.).
So tieing down the Walkers to one area is impossible. I have done extensive research both physically in Scotland and on-line for 15 years.

I have Walker ancestors, but don't know where in Scotland they came from. Is there any website where I can find out where Walkers resided? Supposedly, our ancestors had a castle/home called "Toaping Castle" in Scotland, but have not been able to verify that. Any suggestions? I will be traveling to Scotland next summer (2011) and would like to locate where they were from before I go. Tina MarekSee More
I really can't remember, I guess about 2 or 3 months. They will mail you a kit with some swabs which you use inside your check. I think you will need to have your brother or father do it. I think it is a male to male thing but you can read up on it on their website.
