Land Deeds as often overlooked sources

I have only been doing genealogy research for about a year and a half. But i also spend 20 hours or more a week on my research. I have become obsessed with genealogy like so many others who get the bug. I am constantly reading books, blogs, forums, etc to increase my knowledge. Researching Frambers/ Frambes

Thought I would post this here in my blog in case anyone happens to see it that lives in Clermont Co., Ohio.

Aunt Mary

Mary Irma Lamka (ne Pogany). 1921-1994

Aunt marry was one of the sweetest people I've ever known.

She knew every Polish joke ever conceived and delighted in telling, without malice, each and every one of them.

Daniel Pate

Daniel Pate born ca 1812 NC, to Miss, then to Leon Co. Texas
he married Susanah Graham. Hopefully he had ancestors in the Rev. War. yDNA says he descends from Thorogood Pate. Have yet to be able to find the connections.

Finding long lost relatives

I started my genealogy hobby about 2 yrs ago. I was filling in ancestry charts and posting them all on ancestry.com. Remember Your Audience

When speaking with relatives about genealogy, most have their eyes glaze over or give a low groan. Jennifer is going to start asking all of these questions about relatives because she is nosey or is going to put the family secrets or family blemishes or all out family craziness in the genelaogy. What a great idea!

I have been doing genealogy research with my grandmother and parents for years. The research has been handed down over a couple of generations. I want to get as much done as possible so when it is time to pass it along to my children all they have to do is update it with their spouses and children.

Dealing with ambiguous records.

So, I'm sure that I'm not the only person who has hit a wall in their genealogy research at one point or another. Most of the time, a lack of record is what results in it, but what about when a record gives little to no useful information?
