There are too many letters in the word Woolnough in my last comment

My great grandfather was William Hunter Paterson who married Edith Jeffery and settled at Gladstone Queensland. They raised a large family. One of their sons was the only member of the Communist Party to be elected to Parliament. Frederick Wooloonough Paterson.
My grandfather, Charles Raff Paterson was involved in the timber industry in North Queensland.

My MUNRO's come from Coldingham, Berwick, Scotland. Rev. David MUNRO was a minister there at the priory Church 1847 to his death in 1902. His wife was Margaret Nee Stevenson of Lowick, Northumberland, ENG. They had 5 sons and 4 daughters, Two sons (David Alexander Stevenson Munro and Dr. Thomas Murray Munro) I have traced to Wester Muir Dean near Kelso in the 1881 Census (My Brickwall) and Robert Stevenson Munro who came out here to South Australia as a marine engineer. Any connections or information to David A S , Thomas M, Isabella W (m. Cormack), Sarah M (m. Purves), Mary A H Munro and Edith G Munro will be greatly appreciated.

Kathy, what part of Scotland are your Duncans from? Mine, I think, are from the Stirling area.

For Lesley Roberson and Iain Kennedy
Thank you both for your comments and my apologies for my late reply.
Lesley, I do not know which Denomination or what Parishes he held.
Iain, I think they must be the same Rev Smart, as I have a son for him on my tree, one Campbell Smart, also a daughter Anne Smart who married William Murray at Canongate on 17th January 1799. I will investigate further re your information.
Regards Joy

David--- Thanks for the information from 1881. I did have it, but appreciate your quick response. My grandfather was Richard Lindsay, Catherine's brother. I'm always on the lookout for new cousins! and to fill in the blanks...
