Here are links to the Family Tree Maker Knowledge Base Websites (Online Help Center):

In using the Keyword Search, use one or two keywords for that search. For example, if you have an error message, a key word that you might use, is one of the words in the Error Message.

Family Tree Maker Version 2008 and 2009

There is an Online Video for Version 2009 here:

Family Tree Maker 2009 Feedback Website:

If you use this link, please provide some detailed feedback to Family Tree Maker 2009. You will probably not receive feedback from them, but the developers do read the feedback.

Earlier Version of Family Tree Maker

There are a number of User to User Message Boards. This first link will take you to a list of Family Tree Maker GenForums based on the problem that you are trying to resolve:

When posting a message on any of these message boards, it is MOST HELPFUL to mention the Version of Windows that you are using, and the Version of Famliy Tree Maker that you are uisng. You can determine that by clicking on Help, then About Family Tree Maker. That will help the Users help you.

It is also helpful to be specific as to what the issue is or the question is, based on what you see in Family Tree Maker. If there is an Error Message, please provide the specific Error Message. What you see and what you expect to see is also helpful.

Yes, but don't have it with me right now. I will have to look when I get home.

Thanks very much for the help,

Rick,

It's easiest for this type of "conversation" to start a new Discussion, as suggested above.

The report you generated below is in Version 2010.

If you look as the list of 3 reports, you will notice that there are Several Genealogy Reports, not just the one you posted.

Have you looked at the Publish Workspace in 2010?

Rick,

Which Genealogy Report are you missing? What is it's name? I think that the only report that was in Version 16 and it NOT in 2010 is the NGS Quarterly report. But, 2010 has a number of reports that Version 16 (and earlier) did not have.

Thanks Russ, I will look again. What I found previously was a different type of report. I have never been able to find exactly the same one that is in 2006, but I will certainly search some more.

Rick,

Most, if not all, versions of Family Tree Maker Genealogy Reports. All reports in version 2010 are in the Publish Workspace.

Greetings,

I am a fan of FamilyTreeMaker2006 specifically because it has the genealogy report. I am not able to find a way to generate this type of report in the newer versions. Any help would be appreciated.

Victor -- Family Tree Maker hasn't come with a printed many for at least 10 Versions, give or take a version.

In the information on this website, I have listed a number of other resources for information and help on the Family Tree Maker program.

That PDF file, on your Installation CD may help, but you can print it and don't have to read it Online.

There is an online tutorial for 2010. The Help menus are useful.

Yes, there is a learning curve, but with a number of versions, where there have been major changes, there has been a learning curve.

If you have a specific problem you want help file, PLEASE start a new Discussion, provide some details and we can help you.

Good luck,

Russ
