"It's not advertised on my Homepage @ Ancestry. Anyway, I went to the store, it wasn't listed, but when I typed FTM 2011 in search box, it came up as $39.95.
So, I guess they are not giving us free upgrade from 2010.
Thanks for responding…"
"I am very upset with Ancestry. Com. I have been a member for several years, and I have purchased many versions of FTM.
It is only this morning that I have heard about FTM 2011. I have not been invited to pre order new version."
You shouldn't have any problems with Windows 7. I know of a couple of Windows 7 beta testers and also use Family Tree Maker. There hasn't been any problems. The Webinar the other night for Family Tree Maker mentioned testing with…"
"I haven't actually spent alot of time checking out the new FTM. I'm planning to upgrade to Windows 7
at the end of the month, hopefully, there won't be any compatability issues with FTM 2009.
Thanks for your help!
"My personal opinion is to include yourself as a child of your adoptive family. I know the Mormon Church does not see to agree with this but from a personal view point - I have included a step-mother - a woman who raised my grandmother and her…"
Rather than say illegitimate child, I prefer to call myself a "love child". My Step father never formally adopted me, but for the sake of my family tree, I want to say I was adopted. I have never been able to figure how to put myself as adopted in any version of FTM, including version 2010.Any ideas or tips would be appreciated, as I want my family info accurate.Thank You!See More

Well, I put up with a lot of it on my voice mail and I sure don't want it here. I clicked on "report an issue" which you find at the bottom of your page and it comes up with a complaint form where you can check what kind of a complaint you have. I hope it's acted upon. I can't find anyone who has not been stuck with that link. I'm going to investigate it further and I'll let everyone know what I find out, if anything.
I have been writing to all my friends here on GenWise about this makemoneywith--google that has appeared on everyone's page. I am trying to find out who to complain to at GenWise about this solicitation. It sounds like a scam to me but regardless this sort of activity does not belong on GenWise. I did post to these people or whomever it is I do not want such nonsense on my page. Everyone I have met on GenWise so far has been very nice and sincerely interested in genealogy. We don't need this. What are your thoughts on the subject?
