Margaret, if you would give me your email address, I will be glad to send you an invitation to join one of the WV myfamily sites that I belong to. Then you can search the list of my family sites to determine which ones you would like to join. Without an invitation from somebody, I think you have to set up your own site first before you can join any others. Wilma

Hi!

You need to check on www.MyFamily.com for what sites they have concerning WV.
Another good site is: www.genforum.com

Dianne did you notice that one of the items in the top photo that you can click on is "Search for other My Family sites"? There are many of them out there and this is a great place to search for more that pertain to areas you are researching. Glad you are enjoying the site. Wilma

Weirton, WV. I'm looking for the family of Edward (Eddie) Gretchen. I have a studio photo of him taken in the early 1940s. My mother, Margaret Pruni of Elm St., was a good friend - maybe a girlfriend - and kept the picture until she died in 2001. It's a nice photo and I hate to throw it away. I'll mail the photo to a family member who would want it.

Wilma finally got on the clay site. My cookies were screwed up. The stories were great, especially the one of the confederate widow. My greatgrandfather was a confederate in Calhoun County. Was killed early on in the war. He left 8 children. Dianne

Dianne - I just tried it and it worked. It takes you to page where you set your own user name and password, accept the user agreement and you're in. I don't know what the issue is but give it another try today. Good luck!
