Delores your Morris line should be done sweetie.. There is a tombstone in Marmet, WV that was dedicated to your Morris Family. Plus there a DAR Chapter called the William Morris Chapter.

Hello All,

I just joined the group. My mom was May Ada Whittaker of the Charleston, Kanawha County, WV Whitteker/Whittakers. My GG Grandfather was Norris S. Whitteker m. to Leutitia Morris, so I am also descended from William Morris, Sr. & Jr. through Carroll Morris and Frances See. I am just brand new to the site and the group, so bear with me till I get acquainted with it.

Mark, Bailey is a tough name to trace. My mom was a Bailey and we descend from Joseph Bailey of Taylor County, a Rev War Vet. In the 1850 census, Joseph said he was born in MD. Prior to coming to WV, he lived in Frederick Co., Virginia. He signed up for the Rev War in Bedford, PA. If you connect with my Bailey line, I'd be happy to share what info I have.
