Hi members. Trying to discover if Thomas Richards and Louisa Caddick (married 31 March 1850) in Dudley, Worcester were the parents of William Thomas Richards (my grandfather) who was baptized in the Garrison Chapel, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on 8 July 1866. Thomas was a Gunner in the Royal Artillery. Any help gratefully received. Gail Richards

Hi
I am researching the surname HULL. I have only ever found my grandfathers (Edward) baptism entry never a birth cert although date of birth hand written next to entry in book. (6th Jan 1886) On it, it shows his father as James William Hull and mother as Margaret. I have found them in Battersea on the 1891 and James Birth cert Deptford 1863. His family then seemed to have lived in the Westminster area. His parents were Albert James Hull and Emily Ann Thomas, other children were Edward G, Hannah E, Emily A, Robert, Eliza and Fanny all Hull of course. Would love to find Edward (1886) birth and 1901 census entry as well as much more information on James William Hull and Margaret ?? , have James birth and him on the 1871 then 1891 but nothing else.
Any help please

Hello...I have been looking for ANY information on a Samuel Fox who was from St. Andrew Middlesex. I know he did apprentice work in Grays Inn and was caught stealing in Lincolns Inn Fields. He was sentenced to transportation in 1758 for theft and tried at the Old Bailey. We do not have a birthdate, nor do we know who his parents were. I am trying to find apprentice information on him that may tell me who his dad was and maybe his birthdate. I found a Samuel fox 1750 that showed his fathers name was Samuel and worked for a guy named John Perry of Cutlers' Company. I am looking to make some connections. Hope someone can help! Thanks

I have reason to believe they were working for a firm by the name of William Coates but I have not as yet confirmed this.
I would be glad to hear from anyone else with a similar interest.

Hi Folks, can I just remind you all that it is not a good idea to post names and addresses of people born in more recent times. These people may still be alive, and may not take kindly with having information about them placed on what is, a VERY public forum. Try and stay within the 100 year privacy rule, or just use your Names without dates and addresses when relating your interests.
