Francisco Pallacios

Francisco is not my family but he was a witness at the marriage of Antonio de Silva Povoas to Charlotte Bishop at St Matthews, Bethnal Green, Middlesex on 8 March 1817, and (the same?) Francisco Pallacios was also witness at the marriage of Antonio & Charlotte's eldest son (also named Antonio de Silva Povoas) to Amelia Hunt on 26 July 1837 at St Leonard's, Shoreditch, Middlesex.  In the 1841 census Charlotte De Silva Povoas, age 20 born Middlesex, was with Francisco Povoas age 60 born…See More

Taplin & variants (ONS), Gruggin, Harvey, Giggins, Woolford, Povoas, O'Shea, Slark, Stilwell, Starbuck,

mostly England & Wales, plus Povoas in Portugal & O'Shea in Dublin, Ireland

Intermediate Family History Researcher
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
to find out who I am, as I only knew one grandparent & such family stories as I heard wetted my appetite - as a woman I looked for the "full circle" from the start, never thinking to concentrate on just one line, although Taplin is now part of a GOONS reg ONS, & Povoas & Slark are almost English ONS unofficialy
