I can see why they would require that though. A horse would tear up the grass.

Oh Lori that is so neat. I never thought about back a hundred years ago having that kind of restrictions. Just remember to tie your horse and no dogs allowed.. hmm.. I wonder if they had to carry a LARGE bag and shovel to clean up after the horse.

You do great work. I now live in South Carolina but was born and raised in WF. Have family buried in WF, Electra, and Burk. So glad to have some one like you in my family County!!

I was unable to find anything mentioning your specific question, however, here's a good website with PA cemetery laws. Hope this helps.

Hey Rachel, good work contacting findagrave admin. I worked to get a similar problem cleared up only to have someone recreate the problem. The admin NEED US to tell them where the problems are. In my relatively small circle of grave yards I have found two problems where the cemetery is close to a county line and people have created two cemeteries by the same name, one in each county. I wish people would do a little research before they create the new [wrong location] cemetery.

I have finally found the final resting place for my GGGrandmother, Rachel Winkles. So I go to find a grave to see if she is there. Nope, not there. I locate the cemetary she is in and lo and behold there are three there with the same name, same county and same state. So I email find a grave and ask which one should I create her memorial in. This nice lady named April emailed me back and she merged all three together. That was so nice of her. Of course I emailed her back and thanked her with all my heart.

Since discovering Find-aGrave have become a Graveyard Rabbit Member.... wwwgraveyardrabbitofwichitacountytexas.blogspot.com I have always been afraid of cemetaries till I started searching for information in them and then became a volunteer... now it's a hobby.

Well, it didn't come through as a hyperlink but you can copy the whole address (two lines) and paste it in your browser's address bar. Otherwise, you can use the "search 35 million grave records". There are only two Wyatt Earps to choose from.
