- For what reason did you start genealogy research?
- Curious due to not knowing my fathers family. Also my grandmother on my mothers side told me one day I needed to write all the stories down that she had been telling all these years. I am a volunteer for Find A Grave and also for Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness.
The picture is one of mine and my husband's entire family. This was the first time they were all together at one time since we were married. The picture was taken at our family cememtery in LBL part of Trigg County, KY.

My partner is the premier Slaton, Slayton, Slayden researcher and we have a website, private, and a big DNA project with many lines and haplogroups. I am in the I1B, group whatever that is.
My guy is a Slayton and his haplogroup is totally different, whew. Even tho this is Kentucky.

- Joyce, I can take pictures in Stanwood, WA and Camano Island plus Skagit Co., WA but have no boos listing any cemeteries. Several area cemeteries are on line in various lists where you can search for Gus. Once we know where his grave is, it can be photographed.
