- I had always heard growing up that my great grandma was Indian, my dad did not know too much about her. I guess old age set in on me, because I suddenly want to know all about my roots! Unfortunately, anyone that would know something is deceased.

Jeanette Moore said… - Hi Theresa. Moore is my married name. My ex-husband was from Hamilton Co, Indiana. These Moores originated in South Carolina, and ended up in Hamilton Co, Indiana arount 1830. I don't think I have any Moores in Kentucky, but I will keep an eye out for your line.
