What countries and other locations are you interested in researching?
United States (North Dakota & Texas, mostly), Sweden (Sunne), Mexico, Canada
What is your level of genealogy knowledge?
Intermediate Family History Researcher
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
My father unexpectedly passed away in 2007 and while filling out his death certificate I realized that I knew next to nothing about our family. I didn't even know my grandmother's maiden name (Wilmot) or the city where my father was born (Bismarck, ND). I started researching and quickly became addicted to it.
Some of my family names are Malaterre, Bradford, Wilmot, Backman, and Michelsen. My husband's tree includes Bailey, Hensley, and Ezell.

"Oh, Rebecca, please don't use chalk on grave stones. The Find A Grave FAQ specifically requests that people should not use chalk on grave stones:
Never apply bleach, ammonia, shaving cream, chalk, firm pressure or use anything abrasive
"I take photos in Travis County, Texas (mostly in the South Austin area). My mom-in-law lives near Williamson County, so I occasionally take pictures up there, too. Happily, this area seems to be pretty well covered by volunteer photographers."
