For what reason did you start genealogy research?
When I was about thirteen years old, I had a dream about an elderly woman whom I did not recognize. I tried to describe the woman in my dream to my mother and from my description my mother was unable to identify her. Several years later as I was going through some old pictures that had been handed down to me by my grandmother, I found a picture of the woman I had seen in my dream. I showed the picture to my mother and she told me the woman is my great grandmother Susan Nancy Ray. I feel an incredible affinity toward this woman and have a driving desire to know more about her.

Charlene,
Sorry I didn't get right back to you. I don't think my Williams line ties in with yours but I can't be sure since I don't have much info. My 2nd great-grandfather Wesley Williams lived in Clinton and Bond Counties in the mid-1800s but the last I have of him is in the 1870 census in Pope County. He was reportedly born in Tennessee but I have no parent or sibling names. As you know, hunting for Williams ancestors is a real challenge when you don't know first names! Thanks for responding though.
