Hi, I'm an American branch of the Australian Warrens. My Mum was Edith Clair Warren from Nyngan, NSW, and she married my American Dad during WWII. My Warren grandfather was Charles Edward from Nyngan, NSW, and his wife was Edith Muriel Darcy also from Nyngan. She is from the Ann Forbes(first fleet on the Prince of Wales) family. I can trace the Warrens back through Townsend Gun and his Father another Townsend Gun but then I run into a brick wall. The eldest Townsand's wife was Mary A. Martin(I think) and the younger Townsend's wife was Mary Jane Elder. Do you have any information on this brance of the Warren tree? thanks, cousin.

My beloved Nan is my Warren connection, born Ennis Joan Warren 1909 Rutherglen Victoria Australia. She had many stories of Rutherglen, not many of her Forebears though. She knew OF William Henry Warren, her Grandfather, and that her mother hated him, but nothing of the Grandmother she was named after, Margaret Ennis Morgan. Margaret was actually born in Ennis Ireland. Nan always thought her mother got her name out of the "Albury Banner" newspaper, she died without knowing she was wrong. She loved her parents, and always laughed at the funny stories from them. I have photo's of her (of course), and her parents and some of her siblings, if anyone wants to swap. Dearly want photos of her brother Dennis John known as Jack, and her brothers wives, Frank and his wife, Joe's wife, Les's wives. Contact me on here, and then we can swap off line.

I'd like everyone to tell a bit about themselves, and how they're related to John Warren, if you know. For those who wondered David Warren the inventor of the Black Box I don't think he's a Warren, he was the first white child born on an Island in the Northern Territory of Australia in 1925, and his father's name was not JUST Warren in was hyphenated Warren, I forget the first part of the surname. Thought you'd like to know
