I have taken a few photos recently in Town of Salisbury, Herkimer County, New York State. They have been posted to Find A Grave. If I was retired I would do more, there are not enough hours in a day.

Hello all.

I have photos of the majority of the gravestones for people born before 1901 from Point Clare cemetery in NSW, Australia. Quite happy to share.

Hi all! It's nice to be a part of this group. My family thinks I'm crazy cuz I love cemeteries. I just love to look at old stones and the information you can get from a cemetery is amazing.

Whenever I visit a cemetery, I take photos of random graves with not so common names. Then I go to Ancestry and see if someone is looking for that family name. If so, I send them an e-mail and tell them I have a photo if they are interested. I've only taken about 40 photos and so far 2 people responded and I sent them the pictures. My location is Southern California.

I discovered Find A Grave online, joined, and began posting what few pictures I had. Then, my husband and I put a few thousand miles on the road in April and May of 2009 and traveled to southern Illinois for my family tree research. We visited and photographed and I posted the information found to Find A Grave. We were at the Anna City Cemetery, Vancil Cemetery in Cobden, Vancil Cemetery in DuQuinn, Walnut Grove Cemetery in Cobden, Casper Cemetery in Anna, but couldn't find the Benjamin Vancil Cemetery near Cobden, Union Co., IL. That cemetery is supposed to be on the old Vancil Homestead near Cobden, but the directions I had were incomplete. If you know where that is and would take pictures of the graves there, it would be tremendously appreciated.

I have relatives who has no known location of the Grave.
(They were buried in the woods before 1900.)
Please let me know how I can create the Virtual Cemetery..

Found a cute tombstone at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Johnson County, Indiana. Had to share. Made me stop and think a little. http://bit.ly/lRfHt
