SPIVEY, Henry & KELSEY, Arie

Hi!  I wonder if anyone has information on, or knowledge of, Henry Spivey [b 1907 in Macon, Bibb, Georgia; d 1963 in Macon, Bibb, Georgia].  Henry married Arie Kelsey [b abt 1907 in Burke or Screven, Georgia; her date of death is unknown]. I am looking for a date of death for Arie.  I know that she died after 17 Nov 1961, the date of Henry's death.  I know Henry had at least two children, but do not know if Arie was the biological mother of those children, or whether Henry and Arie had any…See More

PAF ~ Version 5.0

Hi everyone!  I received a new computer for Christmas and had to transfer my files.  That is when I discovered that the version of Personal Ancestral File I was using was outdated.  I knew PAF was no longer supported by the LDS, but it never occurred to me to check to see that I at least had the newest version that was available.  You may want to check to see if you are using the most current version.  It is still a free download from the LDS site. I also could not transfer my PAF Companion and…See More

Debutante Ball

A US Navy cruiser anchored in Mississippi for a week's shore leave.

The first evening, the ship's Captain received the following note from

the wife of a wealthy plantation owner:

"Dear Captain, Thursday will be my daughter Melinda's Debutante Ball. I

would like you to send four well mannered, handsome, unmarried officers

in their formal mess dress uniforms to attend the dance. They should

arrive promptly at 8:00 PM prepared for an evening of polite… Continue

Columbus, Ohio

If anyone has access to newspaper obituaries or funeral programs in Columbus, Ohio, I would like your help. The family name is WILLIAMS. I am not sure which part of Columbus they lived in, but the story may have made the local papers there. Ennis Edmonds WILLIAMS [abt 1927 - Nov 2009] was the wife of Herbert WILLIAMS.

Ennis and Herbert had five children: Louis, Neal, Patricia, Donald and Ronald [Donald and Ronald were twins, born about 1961].

Thank you for the offer, I do have the library edition here at home, I seldom use it for real research, I did my entire website with out the aid of ancestry or books that other people wrote, I do it the old fashioned way, FHC films, documents, letters to municipalities and churches, I will be out of luck when I get to "non recorded history" I use it to make those nice little print outs of the census info if it correct, and to save the image, because back when i got the info from the FHC they didn't have the ability to put images on our flash drives. I have found way too much misinformation and mispellings in my family alone on ancestry I just can't trust it as a single source. Thank again,
Jo
As far an the porn site etc goes, Most people ought to have enough sense to know it is either a virus or at the least that it isn't you, if they don't, then they must have begun on the internet yesterday.

I asked because some of my information was up at a website and the information was wrong, I was wondering where people got that informatin as well as my name, when I clicked on to contact the person who posted the, it should have taken me to myself, but It took me to some one named "Caliandris", and I saw that one of the names they were researching was Spivey, so I thought you might either be this person or know them.
In order for me to contact this Caliandris I would have to join ancestry or someplace, which annoyed me because they woud be "selling" me incorrect information that I was quoted as posting. It is similar to ancestry I think where you have to belong to be put in contact with each other. I was hoping it was you then I could just ask where you got the info and have you correct it. I don't mind my information being ourthere, but I like it to be correct.... Now I wonder who this person is????
