I know this is some time after your original post about the Gabriel Cox line and I expect you have managed to do quite a lot of research since then. I have some information from the archivist of the West Family Group if I can be of any assistance.
Hi Lindsey, no problem with your suggestion. You might like to tell him his original French ancestor, Ales Toullat (described on her tomb stone as "the widow of a Frenchman") is buried in Horsham Church Yard in 1568.

A James Linstead was baptised at St Margarets Church, Topcroft, Norfolk on 5 May 1793. His parents were James Linstead and Sarah Sutton. This info came from FreeREG (Great resource for Norfolk!) www.freereg.org.uk.
