comment by Connie Frey. I would like to share information with you re: the John Randall line. I have information too and would like to share. Do you have any idea where John 1667 is buried?

Randall is one of the lines in my family.  The first John I lived in Westerly RI as .early as 1667.  Wife was Elizabeth(unknown).  They both died 1685.  His son John lived in Stonington CT.  I can give more info on this line if anyone is interested

Regarding Lindsey Dedden's comment on July 18, 2009 at 2:15pm: Do you have the decendants of John Randall, born c1771, and wife Elizabeth, though I understand that you're not certain of her name?

Thanks, Lindsey. What I intended to ask was whether any in your Randall line where you have the James and John gievn names ever emigrated to USA.

Randall

Many people left UK for USA, Canada and Australia so it is possible but it might take a lot of work to find any link!

If you have access to immigration records you  might find some Randalls arriving from UK??

Interesting given names, Lindsey Dedden. My great great great grandfather Randall's first name was James, as also was his son's, and his son was named John. The second James was born 1794 in North Carolina. John was born 1828 in Tennessee. Both of them died in Piedmont, Wayne, Missouri. It's a long reach to tie any of this together, but always worth an attempt.

It looks like I am the first southern Randall descendant to join this group.

The Randalls came to Amite Co., MS by 1810 from Franklin Co., GA.

Before that they were in Montgomery Co., NC. I am still trying to find out

where they were before that. The earliest Randall I have is Johnston Randall,

and I descend from his youngest child, Rebecca, who married Daniel McNeil

in Amite Co. in 1814. Kathryn Schultz, Germantown, TN

I am researching the Lester Leroy Randall family. Lester's wife name is Frances Isabelle Downes. They had a son Elliott I don't know anything about the son. This is what I know about Lester, Lester Born:17 Oct 1899 Massachusetts, Died:17 May 1953 Stafford Tolland Connecticut. Lester parents are Charles Alton /Randall/ & Josephine /Lombard/ After Lester died Frances married John (don't know last name). I would like to find more information on Elliott and who Frances married. That would help continue the research I am looking for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
