Hi Jilaine, I spend several months of the year in Franfurt. I have done a lot of research for a friend in the Koblenz area. I will probably make another trip up there when I go back to Germany this fall. If I go to Koblenz, I will gladly look things up for you if you like. I am familar with the church, both Catholic and Evangelical, the civil records, military records, and property records. I can also try to find city and family histories at the German National Archives.
I like helping people, but I prefer do look up specific information and not try to track down a vague idea. I have enough vague ideas and theories in my own family history to keep me busy. But if there is anything I can do to help you, just let me know.
