How about FAUST and HAAS? Is anyone looking into them at all?

Hello....Westmoreland County seems to be the hot bed for my Brewer family, with my 3 great grandfather being born there: James W. Brewer, he moves to Tuscarawas County, OH., then on to Clay County, IN. With him in his moves there were others from Westmoreland, that moved to Indiana. They had surnames of Armel/ Arnel, McCurley, Arnold, who I have traced to PA. These families married into the Brewer Family.
Any comments or matches?

So I found that census report. The problem is I can't find anything else. I found a death notice for a William Heilman in 1870, having him born in 1811, which is entirely possible. All it says though is that he was white and married and a farmer. That's it. I can't seem to find them at all in 1860. I'd love to say this is the right family, but I just can't be sure. Oh well. I can at least save the census report for later. I might find something then.

Do you have a Feietta Rauch in your tree? She was born in 1819 and died between 1853 and 1857. She was married to Samuel Swoyer and had seven children with him. (After she died, he remarried and had eight more children!!) The children of Feietta and Samuel were Caroline, John, James, Jacob, Charles, Maria Anna, Olivia.

Sound familiar at all?

Kate - that is awesome! I'll have to check it out! Thank you so much. It certainly would be great to finally find that line. They are the ones with which I have the most trouble.

PS: I went to the Cocalico historical society to do some research on my Reddig and Ream family. And guess what I found out?! You remember the guy after whom Reamstown was named, Johann Eberhardt Riehm? He's my seventh great grandfather!! How fascinating? I had no idea. I'm so excited to learn that new information. I didn't have the time to copy all the pages from the book they had there but I'll be back on Saturday to do that. This is so cool!
