Not wanting to harp, growl and howl, I have been saying for at least four years and each year it gets worse, we have created a Separating Method for doing Genealogy.

Having found many relatives on Facebook how about you? Filling in the blanks has become fun and interesting because you can see their faces right away and that is so much fun.
Recently receiving a picture of hubbies Great Grandfather I know where his eyebrows probably came from. It is a young man of 19 in the picture. The only other one he is in 60's, and side profile.
Not gotten the hang of Pinterest but others are constantly talking about the…Continue

Last year I shared some of my family tree with a friend. After a few days they sent me an E mail. One sentence stood out. "Did you know that you are a descendant of Don Juan Ponce de Leon, Adelantado de la Florida?"
I was a little surprised then I wrote my friend back. No? Do you have any details?
They sent me a family tree that was documented up to Antonio Maldonado y Nieves married to Dona Manuela Montalvo.
Antonio was born 1795 in Utuado, Puerto Rico.

Charles Jipp and Lena Nanke had several children. If by chance any of you are related would you please sign in or get back to Mary Pentico Nelson or I.
Or if any of you are related to Grandpa Jipp from the old country or Germany we would love to hear from you.
I have little information on Grandfather Jipp due to his death shortly before MOM Louise Jipp Pentico born. Fred's Mom never knew her father. Her older siblings knew him a bit.

When GenealogyWise first came into being, those of us who joined early were encouraged to create groups to provide a place for people to come and find "their space". Many of us created groups by the surnames we were actively working on and then places, occupations, events, etc. I never dreamed we would be the Admins for all the groups we created. 8-0
If anyone is a member of a group created by me and you want to take over that group, please let me know. I am spread very thin these…Continue
