"I'm not sure exactly what you mean but have you checked the list of names of people on their tree to find that ancestor? From what you say I assume you are just looking at the pedigree view."

question about the "new members connect"

Does anyone know how to see where your family and anothers join? When I get a notice that someone has uploaded information from my tree to theirs, is there a way to see how we connect. If I go into their tree, its difficult to tell where the connection is. I can get to the profile of that person, but can't get to the whole tree to see where we branch off of each other. Most of the time I can't find that ancestor in their tree. Hope this question makes sense.
