Chat Room Invite To All Members

Posted on September 14, 2011 at 9:30am 0 Comments

I'd like to take the time to invite all the new members (and old) to visit the chat room.

There is usually someone there who is willing to help with research, give advise,or just shoot the breeze for a few minutes.

I've been a member of Genealogywise since the summer of 2009 and have enjoyed learning and helping others in chat.

Don't be afraid we don't…

The Blue Star Flag first appeared in 1917, when an Army captain who had two sons serving on the front line designed it as a tribute to

their dedication and service. The flag quickly became the unofficial symbol of a

child in the service. Today, families who have a loved one serving in the

Thanks for the feedback Bob. I'm still trying to navigate around the site and get my bearings. There seems to be a lot going on. Is the chat room the "main room" that seems to be going a million times a minute?

I am researching the HENRY HARRIS family (1st wife Izzie INGS; 2nd wife Rosa) who lived in Darlington Co, SC and Lee County, SC.  Henry Harris was born 1865 South Carolina (probably Darlington Co, SC.)

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Bob, after looking over your geneology list, I wanted to let you know that i live in Northeastern North Carolina, and am familiar with many Bryants in this area. I worked with a Bennett Bryant at panda energy here in Roanoke Rapids for four years. He is from milwalkee, NC. and most of the Bryant clan or family live in Northhampton County. If you like to know more just inbox me. Lots of Bryants, Turners, Grizzards, Dunlows in this area.
