I know this family!
We have a family legend... A medical doctor, Hans Walter Krebs (of Wattenwil *1847 +1925) was a cousin first grade of my gg grandfather Friedrich Krebs (of Oppligen *1834 in Oppligen, Bern, Switzerland - +1914 in Saint Louis, MO, U.S.)
Hans Walter Krebs is a descendent of Hans Krebs *1728, a Brother of Melchior Krebs *1740. An interesting family line, with two lines in America.
The problem... I found no proof for this relationship...

- I do not have very much information about the Krebs in my family, I believe that they are from Baden-Württemberg, Germany. I do have a Johann Bernhard Bardill who married Franciska Krebs, he was born 31 JAN 1851 in Jenaz, Graubünden, Switzerland.
