The churchbooks for Frutigen can be purchased. I assume the genealogist you hired has already looked at these.

Frutigen is about 20 miles south of Wattenwil. There could be a relation between our TRACHSEL ancestors. The church records in Frutigen have not been microfilmed. There are some with the name TRACHSEL in Frutigen in the IGI. I hope you are successful in researching them. Thanks for the reply.

Hello, I will get back to you with the names that I am working on or interested in. I am just starting with these and have some infor which came from my mother-in-law some years ago so do not know how much of that is sourced well. It will be a few days as I will be gone out of town.
