Robert M Scott 1763-Ireland-1832-MS
+ Ann Pollock 1766 PA-1796-SC, he married her abt. 1784 SC
d/o John Pollock & Elixabeth ??
sorry that is all I have for now. I was researching my Scott line when I ran across the Pollock name.
She was the mother of James F. Scott. He was born 5 Jul 1785 SC. She must have died in childbirth, because I show Robert M Scott 1763-1832 remarried to Isa Bell 15 Aug 1797, after James F Scott was born.
Robert M Scott & Isa Bell moved at some point to Claiborne County MS. They both died there.
Sorry that is all I have for now. Hope this helps!

Hi, Diane,

My adoptive dad's great grandmother was Hannah Polk from Georgia, married to Alexander Weddington. I've traced her line back to Robert Polk & Magdalen Tasker, who came to Maryland in the 17th Century. Robert changed the spelling of his name from "Pollok" and "Pollock"--his parents were Robert de Pollok & Jean Crawford of what is today Northern Ireland, although the line originates in Scotland. I'm also a member of Clan Pollock International.

Diane,

My Pollock line goes to a Samuel Pollock who died in Nauvoo, Illinoise, and was born in Barron Donag, , Tyrone, Ireland.
