My Family Photos & Documents Organized by Surname

Please look at my family photos and documents organized by surname:
http://www.debramunn.fotki.com/genealogy__old_fami/debras_family/debras-family-photo/

Each photo is labelled & organized according to the surnames of all the family members appearing in it. Therefore, a photo showing family members with different surnames should appear in each of those surname files. Women are identified by their maiden names regardless of marital status, and photos in which women appear will be filed under their maiden names only. Feel free to download copies of any photos that you may want. And please, if you have family photos of these or related branches, I would love to have copies to add to this collection. Likewise, if you have comments, corrections, or additions of any kind, I would like to know about those, too.

Also, please have a look at this section of photos with unidentified people in them. Do you know who these people are? If so, please let me know!

Hi,
Sorry it has taken me ages to respond. But I have looked into your questions about the COSS connection. I cannot find any link between the two. There is no records of any of my branch of COSS coming to the USA. But the records are very spotty at best when I get to the english/british end of things.
My only firm connection is William Coss who went (deported as a convict) to Australia.
It is also reported that he was of dark skin, with black hair and eyes. It was rumoured in my family that he was black or half black. And had an occupation in England as a coachman.

Hi Debra,
Mine are also from Luxulyan....I'll have to dig out my documents, but I think it was William Sturtridge Grose and his wife that came to Canada in the early 1800's. I'll get back to you with more info- it's quite possible that we do have a connection somewhere

Well, you can certainly say that. I think I read somewhere that you had written a book on ghost places in England. What is the name of it?
Love,
Bev

Hi Debra:
I signed on to this last night and was amazed at all the stuff. It is going to take me a month to go thru all this. Truly, looks like fun.
Love,
Bev

I've only been able to trace back to Philetus Pollock, born 1826 in CT, fought in the Civil War. I've been unable to find any siblings or parents. Very early in my research, I found something somewhere that said his father was William Pollock - but being new, I didn't document where I found it and have never been able to find it again! Philetus' wife was Susan Brewster, also born in CT.

How do the Pollocks fit into your family? Ours are from the Boston, Rhode Island and Connecticut areas. I've hit a brick wall, though!

We have common Polk ancestors on your adoptive tree. I would love to connect
