The Orange County California Genealogical Society is a non-profit, educational organization in Huntington Beach with 500 members. Its purpose is to collect, preserve and disseminate knowledge and information in regards to genealogy and related historical, biographical and heraldic data. Now I will have to go back and research the Brewer family in Claiborne Co., TN a little more closely. I didn't know about William's second wife because my information was gained while entering Larry Pendergraft's direct line in my database. Larry had a good Pendergraft et al web site online years ago but it seems to have been taken down.
