Elkins from Henry, Va.

Hi,I have researched the Elkins line starting with William Elkins who fought in the Rev War from Henry, Va. He married first Elizabeth East in Henry, Va. Speaking and Reading German

Hi all,The end of February, a dear friend passed away. Her daughter and I were cleaning out the house and found 8 post cards that were mailed in the 1940's. They are all in German and none of us speak or read German. Is there anyone on this board that knows how to read German and would be nice enough to transcribe them for us? I am sure they were just friendly notes, but would love to know what they say. Thanks,Cheryl W. TerrySee More

On Thomas Price it is the question of his age. He would have been 16 years old. They think that was to young, if I understand her right. Haven't had a lot of time to talk since she got home from DC

My little sister joined. Do you see her picture? She is light years younger than me as you can see. She is trying to get a supplemental for DAR on our Thomas Price, Barnwell Co. (now Akin) SC. She has been working very hard on this and knows the problem better than I do.

Glad you like it. I think this is a good thing. Genealogy is beginning to cost so much that many will be unable to continue. This is such a relief that here is a group that wants facts and proof and willing to help and share.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. You can see the picture of Jimmy and me. We have been more than friends for so many years, so post your picture.
You have seen me through some hard times as one of my favorite Genie Buddies and I don't even know what you look like.
