I ran into your name and post mentioning that your Great Grandmother was Eva Dexter Sayer. That is also my Great Grandmother. I am just getting started looking into my family geneology. My Grandmother was her daughter Minnie. Thanks for anything you can share.

Split Stewardship
Is anyone considering splitting the stewardship between different individuals along family lines? My younger son is not interested in genealogy and my older son, although interested, has just started his family and as well intentioned as he is, has a lot on his plate and would not keep things together for the foreseeable future. I am having a hard time trying to think of anyone that would be interested in all the branches.

The Denver Public Library has a wonderful collection of individual families genealogy books - they are a wonderful resource and available to the public for their research. Some are 3 ring binders, but they are as valuable as the published ones.

I also see a lot of potential at the GenealogyWise web site. It is helpful to know they are genealogists and you are not sorting through non-genealogists and family with no genealogy interest. I think we can all learn by participating in it.
