Transcription Tuesday – Practice
One thing you will hear repeated often – Practice! Transcribe every document to glean every little clue it contains. Become familiar with the script and how similar letters are formed – with all of their variations. Learn the rules for that time period and region. Note exceptions and unique uses. #skillbuilding #onlineeducation #transcriptions #TranscriptionTuesday @GeneaStudies

Thanks for highlighting Linda Debe and Shannon Coombs-Bennet's sessions at RootsTech 2022.  I've added them to my playlist and am looking forward to building my abstracting, extracting, and transcription skills.
