Hello all,
I am searching for information on a Coleman Williams that lived in Hammond Township in the late 1890's (Beech Island, SC). I've found him in the 1890 and 1900 census records.
Many thanks,
Janeen C. Wilkins

Hello

I am researching the following surnames:

Reed (Read, Reid) Georgetown South Carolina/ Edisto Island South Carolina
especially siblings of Samson (Sampson).

His parents were Tom and Caty Reed
His siblings were:

Tom, Isaac, Charles, Angela and Bess

Samson Reed left Georgetown South Carolina and joined the USCT 21st Regiment Company E from April 1863 - April 1866. In 1869 he lived on Edisto Island. I do know that his two sisters also lived on Edisto Island and that his father was deceased. I am not sure if his mother and brothers also lived on the island.
