Primary MS counties: Tishomingo, Alcorn, Tippah, Lee, Ittawamba, Prentiss, Union, and one more I can't think of off the top of my head, but it is in the general vicinity.

My orphaned 2nd great-grandma -- 16-year-old Mary Annie "Mollie" West -- left Oktibbeha County ca. 1869 and settled in Burleson County (later Lee County), Texas. Mollie's parents are Richard West (son of Richard, Sr.) and Sarah Mildred Carter (daughter of John Carter and Theodocia ? Dunaway).
