Hi, In addition to my Valiente and Lemus lines. I am also looking for any information for a Rosalia Evangelina Fernandez who married Jose Valiente in the late 1800's. They were from the Santiago de las Vegas area.
I've been researching this line for quite a few years, but I've come to a lot of dead ends. This particular portrait is of Bernardino Palacios and it was done in 1870. I've sent you a message on ancestry with my e-mail address and…
I sent you a message through Ancestry tonight I saw this. I believe the Juan Berardino you have is the son of Bernadino Palacios. Juan (john) was a son born to Bernardino and Mary in 1875,just before he went back to Cuba to bring…
Hello! I am trying to find info about my father, Jose Antonio Sousa y Costa. He was born in Havana in 1924 to Felix Luis Sousa and Zoila Luciana Costa. Unfortunately, that and a couple of birthdates are all I have. My father came to the US in 1949…
Hi everyone! My husband is from Cuba we've been together for 15 years and we have a 12 year old son together. I'm trying to find out some of my husbands family history and maybe get in contact with lost relatives! His name is William…
I'm looking for a record of the marriage of William Vaughn and a Mary J in or around 1875. They were living in Blount Country, Tennessee in the 1880 census and the 1900 census, so I'm guessing they were most likely married in the area as well. In the 1900 census it mentions they were married 25 years, so I am putting their estimated marriage year around 1875. Their information:William Vaughn: April, 1848Birthplace: TennesseeParents birthplace: North CarolinaMary J: April 1860Birthplace:…See More
Hello,
I'm new here, desperately seeking info on family that came from Santiago de las Vegas Cuba in the 1800's. Jose Valiente(b 1875 in Cuba), son of Rafael Valiente (b 1845?) and Maria del Pelar Lemus (b 1854). Any information would be…
From reading over your shoulder on the Mississippi group, I believe I have your John W. Partridge, b. abt 1856 in Mississippi as the son of a William D. and Sarah Partridge. :-) I can get you back to 1700 on your line... and would love to find out about John's descendants. Not certain about his wife as I didn't have even a name until I read your post, but I know of several Native American genealogist specialists that may be able to assist us in either proving or debunking the family story. Right now you get to be part of the Wannabe Tribe.... :-)
Hello Elizabeth,
Mucklehone can be part of a related spelling group of Irish names, such as McIlhone, or MacIlhaney, McIlhoney, etc... from Ireland, at least thats what I have seen while compiling the Irish Families Project. -Mike
