My ancestors are mentioned several times in McBee's Natchez Court Records. I have often thought of finding the David Harper volumes, but have never done so. Am I likely to find additional information of interest in those books? Where are copies of those volumes located? Thanks,

Pike, Walthall, Marion, Lincoln, and Lawrence counties are the counties that my ancestors called home in Southwest Mississippi.

1730's First and Second Battles of Ackia, Tupelo, Mississippi Military District. Ancestor aide Maj. Pierre Gabriel de Juzan of Mobile, killed in combat against Chickasaws, First Bttle of Ackia. His Canadian kinsmen, aide Maj. Charles Pierre de Liette and Capt. Antoine de Tonty, killed Second Battle of Ackia. Seek anyone interested in the Battles of Ackia?

Choctaw chief, Capt. Peter Juzan, Inn keeper of Juzan Lake, Miss., who 1815 at the Battle of New Orleans, led 52 Choctaws from the swamp against the British right flank. Afterwards in the Indian removal, Choctaw conductor. Brother William Juzan, Chickasaw conductor.

Looking for descendants of "Mrs. Lee" of Summit, Miss., sister of Mrs. Edwin W. Hosmer of St. Joseph, La., daughters of Mrs. Martha Bell Nixon Warfield who died Biloxi, Miss., July 12, 1904, born New Orleans 1818. There wed New Orleans asst. city attorney, Peregrine "Perry" Snowden Warfield, Esq., from Georgetown, D.C., and kin to Bessie Warfield who wed King Edward VIII. I descend sister Mrs. Jane Ann Nixon James. Their faher was New Orleans city attorney, Adj. Lt. John (W?) Nixon, DeJean's 1st Louisiana  Militia, Battle of New Orleans, buried Biloxi, June 7, 1849.  Jim Miler, Southport, N.C.

Hello, my gggrandparents were John Douglas Davis and Sarah A Wheatley and they were suppose to be married in Tishomingo co Ms. in 1848. I am not finding the marriage, any marriage books for that year?
