Where to Post

I'm trying to organize things a bit so I've made threads in the Discussion Forum for each county. If you know where the people you are researching lived, please post your queries, information, etc. in the appropriate thread/county. If you don't know where in Indiana the people you are researching lived or if they lived in multiple counties, go ahead and post to the Comment Wall below. Also, if you feel your post is urgent or you want it to be viewed by the whole group, post to the Comment Wall. As always, everyone is also still welcome to start their own discussion threads.

Since Genealogy Wise doesn't allow the option of displaying ALL Discussion Forum threads, some won't appear below. If you don't see the county or discussion that you are looking for below, click on "View All" in the bottom right of the Discussion Forum and you should be able to
find it there. Thanks!

Due to spamming fears, I am (for the time being at least) disabling the option of messaging the whole group. If you have a message you would like passed on to the whole group, get in touch with me. If you receive a spam message in your Genealogy Wise inbox along the lines of "Win a Cruise" please get in touch with me right away and I will take care of it. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

In doing my family history, I was surprised how deeply my Hoosier roots run.
Hope to learn from others and to help out.

I would think they would be in this database of Indiana marriages before 1850:

I've recently gotten back into my genealogy project. You know how it goes. You work on it till you're burned out then put it away for a while. Then something triggers you to get started on it again, so you're back to being up all night & on the computer, etc.

Is anyone here related to the Hull family around Terre Haute?

Blessings,
Joann

I am a native Hoosier with most family from the Montgomery County area.

Surnames: BOOHER, TRIBBETT, PERSONETT, FLETCHER

(I have the Louis Tribbett book entitled the James Tribbett Family, published in 1983. I am willing to share information.)
