If you are in the fast track class, there is no need to attend the regular classes as well. The classes cover the same material, but at different rates.

Also, to clarify, please...if one has been accepted into the fast track classes, do they still need to attend the regular classes in the meantime? Thank you...

Just to try to clarify, Kelly's comments (including the change to Tristan's post) pertain to the Provo / Utah County classes, and do not change what Tristan explained about the Salt Lake classes.

Salt Lake will have a fast track class and two sessions of the "regular pace" class. Please see Tristan's posts below for details about Salt Lake class times and locations.

Is anyone else in Salt Lake's fast track class testing for England? This week will be great!

Is the fast track mentioned by Tristan in Salt Lake the only group meeting in Salt Lake?

ls there any groups meeting in Salt Lake since Kelly said her comments are a change of Tristan's? Since I live in Highland and seldom go to Provo. I would like to go to Salt Lake and make a day of the FHL while I am there..

The Provo Mentoring classes are as follows:

The second Tuesday of the month (9 Feb) students living North and South of Provo will meet in at 7pm in rooms 4824 & 4826 of the Harold B. Lee Library (BYU) on the fourth floor in the LRC. I will be there to help direct you to the correct class.

The third Tuesday of the month (16 Feb) students living in (near) Provo will meet at 7pm in room 4824 of the Harold B. Lee Library (BYU) on the fourth floor in the LRC.

The Fast Track class will meet on the third Saturday of the month (20 Feb) from 10am-12pm in room 4824 of the Harold B. Lee Library (BYU) on the fourth floor in the LRC. (This is a change from Tristan's post)

Provo participants please contact me (Kelly Summers) about specific questions. I look forward to this exciting week! Kelly

The SLC fast-track class is this Wednesday from 10-12 in room 218 of the Family History Library. I think the Provo fast-track class is this Saturday morning. Kelly Summers is in charge of all the Provo classes. Kelly, will you confirm the date and time? Bring your four-generation project, if you have started working on it yet, so we can see how far you are and help you finish it up.

So, is this the meeting for the fast track this week? Have there been any classes since the one during the Institute week? I just want to be sure I am not missing anything. What do we need to have done before this class?

Provo: HBLL Tuesday 7pm. I am not sure what room number in the HBLL. Kelly Summers is in charge of the Provo classes. Kelly, would you answer this?

SLC: Church History Museum auditorium, Wednesday, 10:30-11:30am and 12-1pm (choose one class time to attend).

The self-assessment forms for US/Canada are online, and the British one is being finished now by the testing committee. They are hurrying as fast as they can to get the international areas done for us. These are all brand new forms. We'll let you know ASAP when they're ready. Thanks everybody for your patience as we prepare these new materials for you!

Where are the locations and times of the mentoring groups this coming week? I heard through the "grapevine" that we will be split into smaller groups. If so, what group was I put in and what time that group meets? If I signed up for the free class in April just before the NGA, how do I know if I made it into the class? I heard that it was full.
