"My Brennans came down from Bytown (now Ottawa) to Pittsburgh. Patrick Brennan and Matilda Shirley came to Canada before 1836 when they married in Bytown. They had 4 children. One being Thomas who came to Pittsburgh by 1869/70 and married Jane Kelly."

"I have had great success with Picasa by Google. It works very well in adding a caption to whatever document you have scanned and made into a digital image. it's easy,quick and has several functions that you can alter to fit your needs."
