Although there hasn't been much activity here recently, I am always an optimist - hoping that someone will see this and provide a sledgehammer for one of my brickwalls!  My mother was Evelyn Green - her parents were Henry Rebbeck Green and Aline May Jones.  Most of the Green family resided in New Forest, Hampshire, UK.  Anyone out there see anything familiar?

update: I have confirmed I believe that Mary C Brown was the name of my George H Green's name by her first marriage.  I found them on Familysearch.org and ancestry.com.  Now, how to find the father of George H Green/Greene???  So So much info was destroyed during the civil war!! esp for Henrico Co.

Anyone having any ideas at all, any suggestions on where I should look from this point, I would be deeply indepted.  Anyone know of any particular printed resources perhaps??

VA? d 1850 Henrico Co VA. Wife Mary C. possibly second marriage for her possibly married to a Brown.  Lived in Richmond VA.  They married abt 1845.

I don't have much to go on but I have been looking for Kathleen Lucille Green (daughter of James and Henrietta Green) who was born 10 Oct 1878 either in Dublin city or around the Dublin area. She was a twin and was sent to live with an aunt in England as a child. She went to South Africa as a young woman to help during the Boer Wars, later married Ferguson Lepine and lived in Argentina before moving to Pennsylvania.

I am trying to find the ancestors of my 3rd. gr. grandmother Mary Green or Greene, She was born in the late 1700's in SC and married John Bell when she was 16 years old. They lived in Tennessee but do not know the town or county there. They later came to Georgia and were on the 1850 census in Coweta county, Ga. She moved with her daughter Mary and son-in-law James Boatright about 1855 to Carroll county, Ga. I have seen where some researchers list her father as Peter Green, but who was her mother? Mary Green Bell and Mary Bell Boatright along with James Boatright are all buried in the old Jordan cemetary in Carroll county, Ga. . If any one knows anything about Mary Green or her father Peter Green, I would love to hear from you.

Just joined and trying out the site. I have a Sarah Green or Greene (haven't determined if is with or without the "e") b: 1822 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire who immigrated from Blackfriers Road in London, England to USA in 1855. Address was obtained from the sailing records. She gives her parents names as Richard Green and Mary at the time of her marriage in 1862 to Isaac Ferguson.

@Liz- I don't know if your William Green ties into my Greens in Haywood County but, when I saw your post I knew I had seen the name Kizziah Stroud before. I ran across the name looking for someone else. Have you ever been to this guy, Marty Grant's website? He has info on your line.
