Just found out yesterday that I was a descendant of George Soule back many generations through Elizabeth Wing Boatright and her father Edward Wing. I had never heard of George Soule or never paid any attention to the name until now. I am now reading anything I can find on him.

My brick wall is my gr.gr. grandpa Thomas Richards who was married to Mary Lee Tate in Elbert County, Ga. Thomas was born around 1797. I can not find his parents any where. Sarepta Jane Stallings

My gr.gr. grandmother was Sarepta Jane Stallings married to Samuel Tally. I am descended from her daughter Susan Ophelia Tally married to James H. Burks of Carroll county, Georgia. I have an old photo of Sarepta Jane with lots of other people in front of an old house. It looks like it might be a photo of a reunion. I dont know if it would be Stalling, Tally, Burks or maybe a Whitaker reunion, her mother was Johanna Whitaker.
