Edward Wing

Just found out yesterday that I was a descendant of George Soule back many generations through Elizabeth Wing Boatright and her father Edward Wing.  I had never heard of George Soule or never paid any attention to the name until now.  I am now reading anything I can find on him.

John Bell

There were so many people with the name John Bell it can be confusing.  My John Bell was born sometime in the 1700's in either NC or SC. Lee Hinesley.  I noticed on the…See More

Sarepta Jane Stallings

My grandmother was Sarepta Jane Stallings married to Samuel Tally.  I am descended from her daughter Susan Ophelia Tally married to James H. Burks of Carroll county, Georgia.  I have an old photo of Sarepta Jane with lots of other people in front of an old house.  It looks like it might be a photo of a reunion.  I dont know if it would be Stalling, Tally,  Burks or maybe a Whitaker reunion, her mother was Johanna Whitaker.
