Quite a few are led by Guild members - Kirsty Gray on one-place genealogy, Chris Pomery on genetic genealogy and Guy Grannum on The National Archives catalogue. Has anyone tried any of the Pharos courses?

Comment by Steven Whitebread on November 22, 2009 at 5:35pm: Yes, I think I can report some success with my Whitebread and Whitbread One-Name Study Group. I currently have 31 members, including about 8 new contacts. I have added an index to all of the different families known to me, with links from this to separate discussions for each family. I have added descendency charts and family tress for each, and through this I getting lots of new material. I am kept very busy with this site.

My understanding is that there is an intent to have a Society listing also, in which the Guild should figure.
I think having the Guild listed in the surname groups also is an excellent idea - would you like me to take this forward?

I have looked at the surname group listing and it is interesting to see that the Guild of One-Name Study group is not listing. Do you think it should be listed even though it is not a single surname group?
