Hello German Ancestry Group,
I am hunting for my father's family surnamed WASSMER. Also his related German families, BEYER, HULSENBACH, HEINE. On my maternal line I am looking for BEHR, BAUER, BLUM and MESERLIN, all Alsatian. I am especially trying to find any information about Meserlin, as my Meserling g-grandfather has proved very elusive. He was Francois Meserlin, born in France in 1852, immigrated to the US (New York) in 1890, married (2nd marriage-he had been divorced in France) Dec 23, 1891 Regine Blum, and died Sept 25, 1896 in New York's Bellevue Hospital.

Weseley/Veseley are my name interests. Also Kundratek which originated from either Czech Republic or Poland.

My mothers family emigrated from the Czech Republic to Mettman area sometime between the two wars. I'm interested if anyone else is researching these names.

I'm looking for Kemmesatts from Hamburg, Germany & Kalwaits from Goldap, Prussia. They married in Germany & settled in North Dakota in mid 1800s. I have more detail about their lives in USA.

Hi Jo Ann we might be connecting here with the Bertsch. My Bertsch's are from Baden also. I have a Joseph Bertsch who married Regina Kambeitz. I am not showing a Christian.
