Enos (Eneas) Gary - Revolutionary Patriot

The following is the potential start for Enos Gary's story. 1757-1844. He served as a soldier during the Revolutionary War and was the first settler of Rushford NY. I have found the Declaration he made when he filed for pension and there is a book denoting the centennial of Rushford that has a chapter about him. From this I've decided to write his story.

talkingroots: Remembering great grandpa’s firearm

I’m not a hunter. I’ve never fired anything more serious than a BB-gun at any living creature (and I never hit anything alive). One of my prized possessions, however, is a 19th Century black powder rifle.

Genealogy Research at the Spy Museum?????

Yearly, I make a trek to Washington, DC to do some family history research at the National Archives. On one trip, I decided to spend an afternoon visiting the new Spy Museum in D.C..
