MyHeritage adds world's oldest Jewish newspaper to its digital collection of historical records

NYQVIST, Gustaf  Adolf Severin was born June 14, 1886 (parents Carl Oscar Johansson Nyqvist and Augusta Charlotta Fahlström) in Örgryte parish.  Carl died 19 February 1894 and Augusta 24 December 1895. Gustaf was first put in a poor house in Örgryte parish, then in a foster home in Forshälla from Feb 2 1898  to 13 Dec 1901 when he returned to Örgryte.  On 4 December 1909 he was listed in the Household Record of Örgryte BII:3 (1908-1913) Bild 141 as being moved to the Book of Missing…

I am researching information on John Hackett b. abt 1772 in Wales and d. abt 1820 in Irish Town, Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland and his wife, Mary Christopher also b. abt 1772 Wales and d. abt 1820 also in Irish Town, Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.  Their son, Pierce Peter Hackett was born 2 Sep 1795 in Irish Town, Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.  Apparently, local records were burned in a Parish fire so we have been unable to pursue the line further.  We are hoping there is a…

Frank L. Smith Sr., 79, of Enfield, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, after a brief illness.
