MY brick wall is Clarinda Whittiker who married William McFadden in early 1830 ether in Louisiana or Texas. Some say Clarinda is a Fitzgibbons. William McFadden was hung in Shelby County as part of the Regulator Moderator War. I am looking for her father William Whittiker. The Bradleys were also kin to the McFaddens

we had the family tree 37 and only matched with one person completely. the first marker matched everyone else but then switched.1325141011111212121313291709101111241519291515171700 could cousins marrying cousins causes this? we have been trying to get my greatgrandfather's family for 30 yrs and the only hint is the dna of this other person but even that is a deadend could anyone please help jammie barkerSee More

Thanks for the reply. Today I found the records for the Rutland (Chappell) Cemetary in Cass County Cemetary List (source: Find A Grave) I scrolled to Rutland Cemetary where I checked off most of the record of gravestones that I had recorded and photographed there in 1979, but some that I recorded/photographed) were missing from the listing from this site.

Its interesting because the missing stones are all in the NE corner of the cemetary as I had mapped them. I've emailed the contact person for the site. Any other ideas to update the record for this cemetary? I have good photographs of the missing stones.

In 1979 I visited the Rutland Cemetary a few miles SE of Douglasville, and photographed most (all?) of the headstones, and mapped and recorded the inscriptions on all of the headstones. I would like to share this info if you can tell me how. I would also like to find the cemetary or (Methodist "ME Church South") records of the burials, so as to have a more complete listing of those buried there. I am especially looking for Dr. Josiah Phillips (1822-?) and his wife Martha Ann Chappell Phillips (1826-?) who moved to Douglasville area from Alabama in about 1852.

The group was in the 1860 census, so you probably already have that info. I'll check my data for any other Wade you wish, but doubt that I have much more.
