Comment by Virginia R. Robertson on March 14, 2012 at 11:01am David: Have you registered you DNA with Family Tree DNA and or Clan Donnachaidh Society? Lots of Robertson families are trying to sort out the ancestry lines from the early days in the US. The more concrete facts the easier it gets for all of us.
Comment by David Robertson on March 12, 2012 at 9:10pm Im looking for descendants of William ROBERTSON and Julliette BALDWIN of Nashville, Tn area. Possible sons of them are Christmas Walter ROBERTSON and Abner Baldwin ROBERTSON... and also a woman who married a SNELL and is buried in Nashville, while her husband and their kids moved to Fayette Co. TX. the same county that Christmas Walter ROBERTSON moved to in the late 1850s
Comment by Virginia R. Robertson on September 17, 2011 at 12:12pm We are doing research to find the birth family of Nathaniel Robertson who married Serene Ragan in Baldwin County, Georgia in 1808. Shortly after their marriage this family lived in Lawrence and Covington counties in Mississippi. My husband is descended from this line through Elam Sharon Robertson, Elam Thomas Robertson and John Reynolds Robertson whom married Hazel Gwynne Stalcup in 1928, Fairfax County, Virginia. We would be happy to share what we have, and receive information on the family of Nathaniel.
The DNA of my husband is registered through FTDNA and the Clan Donnachaidh project where there are three other exact matches. One match is also descended from this Nathaniel. The other two matches give us clues which we have not been able to connect with documented connections to Nathaniel. My current question is to find information regarding an S. L. Robison born 4 Dec 1854 in Lincoln Co. Tennessee, m. Eliza Jane (Casey) Robison. Does anyone have further information on S.L. Robison?
