"The curly bangs came into style in 1876 and went out in the mid 1880's and the neckline fits this time period as well.  A plainer neckline came into fashion about 1884.  Fargo, D. T. probably stands for Fargo, Dakota Territory. "

What do this photo tell ??

"The photographers bio and the year the Dakotas became a state tell us that the photo should be from 1879-1889. I am leaning towards 1879-1885. Is the back of the photo matte or glossy? That is quite a cross, I  don't know if ever saw one…"
